Minimal Wave/Cold Tech de Montréal

Producer, composer, songwriter, Montreal’s Xarah Dion is becoming a key player in the minimal wave scene. Surrounded by analog synthesizers, Dion creates an innovative style with her personal melodic, rythmic and arrangement signatures. With over 15 years of stage experience, Dion’s live performance’s are said to be mesmerizing and virtuoso. Her first LP Le Mal Nécessaire brought her to tour Europe twice in 2015 and carve her a space in the wider post-punk scene. Dion’s sound remains on the cutting edge of a genre and her forthcoming LP bears the promise of her live act.

PEINE PERDUE
Synth-popouse entre Paris & Berlin

Peine Perdue was born in Paris in 2010 from the encounter of Berlin-based artist and musician Stephane Argillet (La Chatte, France Fiction) and Coco Gallo. The cold and melancholic synthpop of the french duet finds its roots in cinematographic phantasmagories, nebulous synthetic architectures and sensual minimal wave. Mathematics dance meets reverie on their first album, ’No Souvenir’, released on Cold Beats Records in 2014, and selected second best album of the year by Vice Magazine. After a two monthes tour in April and May 2014 throughout Europe, a new full length LP ’Disparitions’ released in April 2015 on american label Medical Records. They then toured in Europe and Canada. 2016 will be released their third album ’Nuit Blanche’, and a new tour is in preparation from March to May.

Valentin Fleischmann aka SEXPOL (Frankfurt) makes a fine and ecstatic mixture of obscure german wave tracks and avant-garde industrial sounds. Valentin has DJed dozens of parties in Germany and France, where he creates a unique hypnotic and manic atmosphere for the dancefloor.
